How the Coronavirus is Impacting Higher Education

This panel will discuss some of the impacts the coronavirus has had on higher education, including impacts on enrollment, budgets, clinical instruction and plans for the upcoming academic year.

At the conclusion of this presentation, participants will be able to:

  1. List strategies that institutions implemented to quickly pivot courses and programs to remote instructions.
  2. Describe financial impacts to institutions due to COVID-19.
  3. Explain future considerations for institutions related to instruction, faculty and student safety, and fiscal planning.

This recorded presentation is P.A.C.E. ® accredited. The instruction level for this activity is Intermediate. One (1) P.A.C.E. ® contact hour and one (1) Florida credit hour in the area of Education/General will be awarded to participants.
