Clinical Laboratory Science Attraction and Retention

There is a shortage of CLS talent in the market but each lab suffers from different degrees of understaffing. This presentation will be broken down into three sections that encompass CLS attraction and retention. Part 1 will be on examining why CLS leave jobs and what they look for, part 2 will be on best practices and strategy's to attract CLS, part 3 will focus on retention and I will share reasons CLS don't want to leave certain roles.

At the conclusion of this presentation, participants will be able to
  1. Explain the key reasons why clinical laboratory professionals leave positions
  2. Describe at least two proven strategies to help with attracting CLS candidates
  3. Accurately calculate the cost of using temp agencies to make better lab business decisions
