Tales from the Clinical Rotation Front: Are you Ready for Anything?

This session will describe several interesting situations that have occurred during student clinical rotations at Johns Hopkins Hospital and how these experiences were handled cooperatively between the programs and the clinical sites.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
At the conclusion of this presentation, participants will be able to

  1. Describe some of the unusual situations that have arisen during student clinical rotations
  2. List creative and alternative ways that programs and clinical sites can team up to deal with unexpected situations
  3. Design back-up plans and flexible scheduling to implement during potential interruptions or sudden cancellations of rotations

CE ACCREDITATION
