Assessing Cognitive and Non-cognitive Abilities in MLS Applicant Selection

This session will provide an overview of an MLS candidate selection process, highlighting changes implemented for non-cognitive evaluation and selection outcomes.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
At the conclusion of this presentation, participants will be able to:

  1. Describe MLS selection criteria for non-cognitive abilities.
  2. Review evaluation tools and selection process.
  3. Evaluate outcomes based on new selection criteria.

CE ACCREDITATION
ASCLS is approved as a provider of continuing education programs in the clinical laboratory sciences by the ASCLS P.A.C.E. ® Program. One (1) P.A.C.E. ® contact hour and one (1) Florida credit hour in the area Education/General will be awarded to participants.
