The recent pandemic brought unprecedented challenges for clinical education, in some cases forcing programs to delay graduation. During this session laboratory educators will review the educational foundations for clinical rotations and evaluate tools to provide meaningful and equitable clinical experiences when using a blended learning model for clinical rotations.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
At the conclusion of this presentation, participants will be able to:

  1. Describe on-line learning supplements to clinical instruction
  2. Explain collaborative efforts across institutions to rapidly respond to canceled clinical experiences
  3. Describe lessons learned in rapidly moving clinical instruction to a virtual format

CE ACCREDITATION
ASCLS is approved as a provider of continuing education programs in the clinical laboratory sciences by the ASCLS P.A.C.E. ® Program. One (1) P.A.C.E. ® contact hour and one (1) Florida credit hour in the area Education/General will be awarded to participants.
