  • Effectively Manage Patient Flow to Increase Patient Satisfaction
    • Effective management of patient flow is a goal of all organizations. Failure to adequately monitor and address an efficient workflow is a huge dissatisifier to patients. Learn how to apply targeted techniques that will enable you to address flow in real-time and use historical data for optimization.
  • Military Blood Donor Center Challenges
    • This session will provide an overview of Military Blood Donor Center operations, limitations, and mitigation strategies to ensure adequate medical treatment and hospitalization of service members and their families anywhere in the world.
  • Ready Medical Force - Lab Techs Ready for Deployment
    • Discuss ways/means of ensuring military laboratory technicians and technologists complete their individual critical task lists and are ready for deployment
At the conclusion of this presentation, participants will be able to:
  1. Identify a plan and methodology for monitoring real-time patient wait times.
    Analyze historical trends to optimize operations and patient satisfaction.
    Mitigate the effects of long wait times as they relate to patient satisfaction.
  2. Summarize military blood distribution process
    Classify military donor center limitations
    Identify military donor center mitigation strategies
  3. Identify the individual critical task list for 68K and 71E
    Identify ways to train and get training on the individual tasks
    Summarize the importance of individual critical task lists
