Use of digital polymerase chain reaction technology is growing rapidly in
last decade. In last few years it is becoming a gold standard for nucleic acid
quantification. Presentation will be focused on basic concepts of droplet
digital PCR, presenting its advantages and clinical applications in Molecular
Genomics laboratories.

- Describe the basics of droplet digital PCR (ddPCR)
- Outline the advantages of the ddPCR over other PCR methods
- Discuss the applications of the ddPCR methodology in clinical laboratories
