The presentation will review at a high level of what Lean is and how the methodology is used to drive process improvement in healthcare.

At the conclusion of this presentation, participants will be able to
  1. Recognize Process Improvement Opportunities by Identifying Waste, Non-Value Added Activities, and Root Cause Analysis
  2. Apply Lean Tools Including A3, PDCA, VSM, and Root Cause Analysis
  3. Utilize the Gemba Board Measurement System
