What's New in Phlebotomy?

A leading authority in the blood collection industry shares the latest news affecting those who perform, teach, or supervise blood collection personnel. New studies from the peer reviewed literature will be discussed as well as current trends, new products, regulatory developments, and emerging technologies.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
At the conclusion of this presentation, participants will be able to:

  • Summarize recently published articles and studies impacting the preanalytical phase of laboratory testing.
  • Identify emerging technologies that could impact the blood collection industry.
  • Discuss other changes and opportunities in the blood collection landscape of interest to those who perform, manage, and teach blood collection procedures.

CE ACCREDITATION
ASCLS is approved as a provider of continuing education programs in the clinical laboratory sciences by the ASCLS P.A.C.E. ® Program. One (1) P.A.C.E. ® contact hour and one (1) Florida credit hour in the area of Phlebotomy (GEN) will be awarded to participants.
