This presentation will discuss
the principles and applications of a blood center-based, laboratory derived
test allowing high throughput blood donor and transfusion recipient red blood
cell genotyping.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
At the conclusion of this presentation,
participants will be able to:
- Classify the methodology employed by Precision Blood to determine RBC genotype
- Identify current blood donor and transfusion recipient applications of Precision Blood
- Summarize how Precision Blood might advance personalized transfusion medicine
