This presentation will discuss the principles and applications of a blood center-based, laboratory derived test allowing high throughput blood donor and transfusion recipient red blood cell genotyping.

At the conclusion of this presentation, participants will be able to:

• Classify the methodology employed by Precision Blood to determine RBC genotype
• Identify current blood donor and transfusion recipient applications of Precision Blood
• Summarize how Precision Blood might advance personalized transfusion medicine
