When grading student lab
work, have you wondered if students understand, apply, or even read your
feedback? We have! This session will discuss development and implementation of
a new feedback approach that takes students beyond error awareness and requires
them to analyze and apply what they’ve learned.
It will also cover use of this approach in face-to-face and online hematology
lab settings.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
At the conclusion of this presentation, participants will be
able to:
- List characteristics of feedback that optimize student learning
- Describe an approach to implement feedback that optimizes student learning
- Discuss applications of enhanced feedback methods in face-to-face and online hematology laboratory settings
