Learn how one program added
DEIJB into the curriculum while still meeting time constraints and accreditation
standards. A range of initiatives, from simple to complex assignments, that
bring awareness to DEIJ in the laboratory sciences will be shared, as well as
strategies and goals for moving forward.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
At the conclusion of this presentation, participants will be
able to:
- Discuss the need for DEIJ in MLS as part of the curriculum.
- Explore models and media for embedding DEIJ in already constructed curriculum.
- Discuss the role of inter-professional education as a form of DEIJ.

This recorded presentation is P.A.C.E. ® accredited. One (1) P.A.C.E. ® contact hour and one (1) Florida credit hour in the area Ethics/General will be awarded to participants.
