Everyday people walk into healthcare afraid: patients, families, AND health care team members. In this presentation, we will explore the impact of fear and things we can do to ease that fear.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
At the conclusion of this presentation, participants will be able to

  • Discuss the impact of fears experienced in health care on patient experience
  • Discuss the impact of fear on the experience of the health care team
  • Identify strategies to alleviate fear for patients, families and the health care team
