Exploring the role of rewards, communication, and adaptable leadership, we will review strategies Laboratory Leaders can create and implement immediately to develop a motivating environment and sustain motivation for enduring success in the laboratory.

At the conclusion of this presentation, participants will be able to:

  • Identify the significance of purpose-driven motivation within the clinical laboratory setting, understanding how connecting the precision of diagnostic work to patient outcomes enhances team engagement and resilience during challenging circumstances.
  • Discuss tailored strategies for motivating clinical laboratory teams, including optimizing workflow processes, fostering a culture of accuracy and attention to detail, and recognizing the vital role of each team member in contributing to patient care.
