Transitioning from classroom to online teaching has its benefits, but also
it has challenges in establishing teacher and social presence. This session
will present a roadmap of establishing teacher and social presence along with
strategies for educators to increase their effectiveness online.

conclusion of this presentation, participants will be able to:
- Describe teacher and social presence in an online learning environment
- Utilize common-sense strategies to enhance teaching in an online learning environment
- Implement one strategy to increase teaching effectiveness in an online learning environment
