Contributors

  • Kerianne Fuoco, MHA, MLS(ASCP)CM

Kerianne graduated from Monmouth University with a Bachelor’s in Medical Laboratory Science in 2016. Her final year of undergraduate study consisted of a laboratory internship and didactic lecture series through the Florence M. Cook School of Medical Laboratory Science. Throughout her studies, Kerianne found that Microbiology quickly became her favorite topic; the vast world of microorganisms was both complicated and fascinating and the laboratory work was equivocal to being a detective! After completion of her undergraduate degree, Kerianne worked as a Medical Technologist in the Microbiology department at Jersey Shore University Medical Center for 5 years until becoming the Microbiology Supervisor in 2021. She also attained a Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from Saint Joseph’s University during this time. In her free time, Kerianne enjoys baking, watching Netflix and planning her upcoming wedding in April 2023.
